6       Data collection, purposes and legal bases of data collection and, if applicable, transmission of data

6.1      Legal basis

If we obtain your consent for certain processing operations, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of a contract, e.g. for the delivery of goods or for pre-contractual measures, for example in the case of inquiries, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which requires the processing of personal data, such as for the fulfillment of tax obligations, the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. If the processing of personal data is not based on any of the aforementioned legal bases, we process data to protect a legitimate interest of our company, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

6.2      Request by e-mail, phone or fax

The contact form offers interested parties the opportunity to send inquiries directly to us electronically.

If an interested party contacts us in this way, the data entered in the form (first name / surname, e-mail address, telephone number, etc.) is automatically saved. The data is stored solely for the purpose of processing or contacting the person concerned.

Alternatively, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail addresses provided on the website. All data provided by the person will be stored. In most cases, the e-mails sent are delivered to general departmental mailboxes. This storage also serves the above-mentioned purposes.

The data entered by you will be stored by us until revoked. Mandatory statutory provisions, e.g. special retention periods, remain unaffected.

7       Cookies and server log files

For technical reasons, so-called server log files are also created. In these files, the provider stores technical data (e.g. browser type and browser version, operating system used, time of the request, IP address, etc.), which the browser automatically transmits to the provider. This data is not merged with other data, so that it is not possible to identify individuals.

Our Internet pages also use cookies. Cookies are text files that are placed and stored on a computer system via an Internet browser. The use of cookies enables the websites and servers visited to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from others.

Some cookies are deleted after a visit to the site, while other cookies are stored permanently. In addition to our cookies, cookies may also originate from third-party companies (third-party cookies).

Some cookies are essential for the operation and display of the website and do not collect any personal information. Others, however, make it possible to adapt your site visit to your preferences and user behavior. In this case, we ask for your consent to set these optional cookies when you visit our website for the first time.

You can prevent the setting of cookies for all websites by changing the settings of your Internet browser. You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Cookies that have already been set can be deleted again. We would like to point out that you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website.

8       Application

You can submit your application by post or by e-mail (bewerbung@brokamp-tec.de). If you apply to us, we will process the information that we receive from you as part of the application process, e.g. letter of application, CV, references, etc.

Your data will initially be processed exclusively for the purpose of carrying out the application procedure and deciding on an employment relationship. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is § 26 para. 1 BDSG. If your application is successful, your personal data will become part of your personnel file. All applications will remain with us for up to 6 months after completion of the selection process and will then be permanently deleted or returned to you in full. If it is clear that the data will be required after the 6 months have expired, e.g. due to an (impending) legal dispute, it will be deleted if it is no longer required for the respective purpose. In the event that your application has aroused our interest but we are currently unable to offer you a position, we will request your express consent to retain your applicant data in our applicant pool for a longer period in order to be able to consider you for future vacancies. In this case, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR is the legal basis for the longer storage period. This consent can be revoked at any time.

Unsolicited applications are stored by us indefinitely and added directly to our applicant pool so that we can consider them as soon as a corresponding vacancy arises. You can object to this storage at any time.

Your personal data will only be collected or processed by persons who are responsible for processing the application.

9       Duration for which the personal data is stored

The criterion for the duration of the storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After this period has expired, the corresponding data will be deleted routinely, provided that it is no longer required for contract fulfillment or contract initiation.

If you send us an e-mail via the contact form, your e-mails will be received by the relevant mailboxes and archived there indefinitely.

Your data for the newsletter will be used by us until your revocation in order to keep you informed about news.

Your data stored in the course of using our online presence will – as far as possible – be deleted when the site is closed.

10   Rights of data subjects

You have the right to receive information about your data stored by us and the purpose of storage at any time in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR. You can revoke your consent to the storage or use of your personal data in writing at any time. In addition, you have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, Art. 21 GDPR. In addition to the revocation, you have the right to demand the correction (Art. 16 GDPR) as well as the restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and blocking or deletion of your data (Art. 17 GDPR).

You have the right to contact the relevant supervisory authority (for NRW: the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf) for complaints in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. You also have the right to receive the data you have provided in a machine-readable format for transmission.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, you can also contact us directly (responsible body: see imprint). For all questions and requests for information, applications or complaints, you can also contact our external data protection officers directly.
