FAQ
Questions About Parts to Drawing
What does manufacturing to drawing mean?+
Manufacturing to drawing means producing a component to the requirements of a technical drawing or sample rather than a standard catalogue. Dimensions, tolerances, material and surface requirements form the agreed production specification.
Which drawing formats can I send?+
Email your technical drawing. File formats and any open technical points are clarified with you directly. A dimensioned sample can also provide a basis for simple components.
What happens if a drawing raises technical issues?+
Our production planning team reviews each drawing for manufacturability. If we identify restrictions or alternatives, we discuss them with you before production.
How should tolerances be specified?+
Please specify functional dimensions, tolerances, material and surface requirements explicitly. Missing information and applicable standards are agreed with you before an order is placed.
Can you manufacture small parts to drawing?+
Our main production diameter range is 3–15 mm. Please send your drawing so that we can assess manufacturability for your application.
